Description​

This command allows you to specify the channels for various features of Engagerly bot, such as the task center, twitter engage, giveaway, shop, and logs. By using this command, you can customize where different bot functionalities will be active and visible.

Usage​

/set channel <feature> <channel>

Parameters​

  • <feature>: This is a required parameter that specifies the feature you want to set the channel for. The available options are:
    • task-center: For the task center feature.
    • twitter-engage: For the Twitter engagement feature.
    • shop: For the shop feature.
    • giveaway: For the giveaway feature.
    • logs: For logging purposes.
  • <channel>: This is also a required parameter that specifies the channel you want to assign to the selected feature. You can select a specific channel from the provided list.

Examples​

  • Example 1: Set the task center to the channel "#tasks":

    /set channel feature:task-center channel:#tasks

  • Example 2: Set the giveaway channel to "#giveaways":

    /set channel feature:giveaway channel:#giveaway

Notes​

  • After modifying the channels for task-center,  twitter engage, giveaway, or shop, please execute the /repost command to ensure that messages are re-posted to the new designated channels.
  • Please ensure that you select a specific channel and not a category when setting the channel for a feature.
  • Please ensure that the channel you want to set for a feature already exists before executing the command.
