Scenario

Server administrators want to ensure all new members read and accept the community rules, and confirm their agreement by reacting before gaining full server permissions:

  • New members need to add a reaction to the announcement message in the rules channel to confirm they have read the rules.
  • Upon completion, they will receive the @Member role and a reward of 5 points.

Setup Process

  • Set up the task Use the /task response_message command to create a long-term task requiring members to react to the rules message:
    /task response_message reward:5 role_reward:@Member duration:Unlimited link:Rules_Message_Link
